A Project A Week: Week 3

I’m not going to lie: I started APAW with the best of intentions…and then…February happened. For whatever reason, February derailed me on a lot of my Design Resolutions, but more on that later. The good news is that I can finally share the third (Fourth? There’s another hidden project that might have come first…) project in the series: an infinity scarf for my friend’s birthday gift.
As I mentioned yesterday, The Spotted Fawn’s Rachel and I started being craft buddies when we both moved here last fall. I was really inspired by this infinity scarf pattern that she has been making:
So with her permission, I borrowed her pattern and created this scarf for my friend, Jen, out of a lovely, soft bouclé:
However, I wanted to test out a new stitch used to stitch two ends together in case I end up using it on a granny square blanket sometime in the future. So rather than follow Rachel’s pattern directly, I made some modifications. The seam didn’t turn out too badly if I do say so myself! And the scarf is wonderfully warm! (…erm, I might have tried it on for a bit…sorry, Jen!)
