This is me: a UX/UI designer from Chicago

Hi, I’m Lorraine.

I lead teams and guide projects toward inclusive solutions. I believe that good design is accessible for all users. I create experiences that people love.

How I can help you

Leadership

I am a seasoned designer, who is comfortable owning the design direction and strategy. I have run accessibility programs, served on company-wide task forces, and led cross-functional teams. I also have management experience and have led teams of 4-6 designers, trained interns and new hires, and help folks grow in their careers.

Mentorship

I fully embrace my role as a mentor to less experienced designers on my teams. I share feedback on their work, and also help them think about their careers. Every spring, I speak to college students about embarking on a career in the design industry. (If you’re interesting in having me come to your class, reach out!)

Passionate

I am passionate about accessibility and inclusive design. I believe that focusing on the humanity of our users can make our products (and our world) better.

When not working, you can usually find me setting type for my 1880s printing press, reading speculative fiction or practicing my German at a virtual Stammtisch.
