Lorraine started her career as an illustrator at the tender age of three before later pursuing a career in design and communication strategy. Although initially preoccupied with drawing blobs that resembled monster-like caricatures of family members, her interests soon grew to include the way businesses and their consumers interact and the intersection of design, innovation, and business strategy. Her clients have included Hülsta, Hallmark Cards, Inc., University of Missouri, Bayer Healthcare, and the Chicago chapter of the AIGA.

Lorraine currently lives and works in Chicago. She enjoys, in no particular order: cheesecake, printmaking/letterpress, badminton, watercolors, and antique doorknobs.
